Susan Y. Kim

Called to the Bar in British  Columbia in 2000, Susan Kim has been practicing law for 20 years servicing clients in Greater Vancouver in Family Law, Civil Litigation, Commercial Law, Real Estate transactions, Wills & Estates and Corporate Law.

With a Double Major from the University of Toronto, Ms. Kim graduated with distinction with a double major: Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Commerce. She had her undergraduate thesis on children's evaluations of decision-making procedures published in the prestigious journal of Child Development before attending law school. 

Upon graduating law school in Ottawa, Ms. Kim completed her articles at a national law firm in Vancouver, BC before starting her own law firm. Initially starting out as a general practitioner, the focus of Ms. Kim's practice during the last 12 years has been in the area of family law, wills & estates and civil litigation.

As an active member of the local community, Ms. Kim contributes her time to Access Probono, a free legal clinic through SHARE,  Coquitlam branch.

During her spare time, she likes to travel with her family, hike and camp through the beautiful Pacific Coast Trail and cultivate her creative endeavors such as painting, writing, sketching and silver-smithing.
